Law School
The Law School was founded by the South Central Forestry College for the purpose of meeting the demand of legal talents by socialism market economy, which started to recruit students in the year of 1993 and owns the two undergraduate course majors of laws and administration at present. Set under it are a simulative court laboratory, a law speciality reading room, a book data room and 4 teaching and research sections. The college owns over 20 thousands of volumes of books and over 90 kinds of journals and magazines. The school owns more than 40 staff members, of whom there are 2 professors and 13 deputy professors. The teachers of this college undertake the teaching tasks of not only laws major, administration major and speciality essential lessons, but also the public theoretical lessons for the whole college students at the four levels of doctor, master, undergraduate, and specialized education. This college has been laying stress on scientific research and academic activities, undertaking and participating in more than 20 items of scientific research tasks with 2 items awarded Science and Technology Advance Prizes at provincial or ministry level, and publishing more than 30 textbooks and monographs. This school owns a powerful teaching strength and fine conditions for teaching, scientific research and study.
