King Bell College of International Studies
CSFU King Bell College is established in accordance with the internalization of education, dealing with Britain-Chinese cooperation in education. Its principle is to comprehensively adopt from abroad the advanced education theories and the curriculum system, combine the excellent education resources and realize the mutual supplement to each other’s education edges, cut down sharply the education fees for Chinese students who intend to study abroad, and cultivate creative and versatile talent. The curriculum system is also adopted from the cooperative colleges and universities abroad and implemented with bi-lingual education. On 9th April, 2004, with the approval of the Overseas Service Office of the National Education Administration, CSFU was authorized to established HND and relevant college courses.
HND is an undergraduate-level qualification and is roughly equivalent to the first 2 years of a university Bachelor’s degree program. HNDs are developed with industrial and professional bodies, which means that they prepare students for the world of work as well as for higher education. HND holders can apply to enter the final year of a degree at colleges and universities across the UK. There are currently over 80 HNDs on offer, across 22 work-related sectors. For instance, business, engineering, computing and IT are the subjects currently in greatest demand among students worldwide. If you fancy studying for a degree in another English-speaking country, the qualification can also be used to enter the third year of 4-year Bachelor’s degree at universities in the USA, and Australia and so on. And HND programs are designed to be relevant to the work place. They are also ideal for students looking for employment when they complete their course.
